SK Chemicals establishes an annual waste management goal of a 5% reduction compared to the previous year's waste generation. The company identifies and implements activities to reduce waste generation actively. Waste reduction activities are vigorously pursued in terms of reducing facility waste and contributing to resource circulation through product recycling.
Increase in Waste Recycling
SK Chemicals's Ulsan plant undergoes Zero Waste To Landfill (ZWTL) verification to objectively evaluate efforts to reduce waste. The company plans to continuously increase the waste recycling rate with the goal of achieving a recycling rate of 95% by 2025.
