Improvement in Water Recycling
SK Chemicals has established a system to track the water recycling volume of all facilities and continuously increases the water recycling rate by identifying improvement points in water recycling.
Self-Development of Water Resources
SK Chemicals's Ulsan facility directly sources water from the Nakdong River to cope with risks in water-stressed areas. After self-treatment, this water is used, increasing economic efficiency and effectiveness compared to general tap water usage.
Wastewater Reduction
The Ulsan facility of SK Chemicals treats used water through its own wastewater treatment system and operates an activated carbon filtration facility to apply stringent water quality management standards exceeding legal requirements.
